Boe M. Piras
Boe joined the firm as an associate in 2013 and became a partner/member in 2018. He splits his practice between advocating for a wide range of individuals and organizations in the firm’s litigation practice group, representing several towns and cities in the area, and providing counsel to a number of local businesses. Boe takes pride in his ability to listen to, and connect with, his clients. This allows him to provide honest advice, formulate creative solutions, and advocate effectively. Boe regularly appears before trial courts across the state (arguing cases to both judge and jury). He has also argued to the Minnesota Court of Appeals on a number of occasions and once had the honor of appearing before the Minnesota Supreme Court.
Boe came to the firm after clerking for judges in Stearns and Benton Counties—where he gained invaluable insight in to how judges make their decisions. During law school, Boe served on the Editorial Board of the University of St. Thomas Law Journal; authored a Note that was published in that Journal; and practiced as a Certified Student Attorney, representing clients in the law school’s legal clinic.
Boe is an active member of the Cold Spring Area Chamber of Commerce, the Albany Area Chamber of Commerce, the Stearns/Benton Bar Association, and the Minnesota State Bar Association. He has also enjoyed volunteering for his church and community, as well as providing pro bono legal services to people in need. In his free time, Boe enjoys spending as much quality time with his wife, two kids, and dog as possible—which currently involves a lot of bike rides, swinging, family trips, swimming/soccer/t-ball practices, board games, movies, and homework.
